Your advice and thoughts were incredibly motivating and will stay with me. I particularly liked how you emphasized how important it is to differentiate yourself from the competition. As I continue on my own journey, I will keep in mind your advice of being genuine and true to oneself. Your enthusiasm for the topic was evident and infectious.

  • I want to start by saying that your lectures were one of the most interesting and engaging ones that we had this year. After a number of speakers have come in to talk to us about the importance of managing our finances and starting to save money from an early age, you have been the most touching. As you were sharing what it took you to get to the top, I was able to make note of your authenticity. Being real is not something many people are able to do nowadays, and the way you spoke to our class expressed your genuinity. You seem as if you actually care about our success, and in the future I hope to see more of your work and continue to hear about how you were able to prevail despite enduring hardships.

  • I would like to personally thank you for coming back to Spellman to share your wisdom. I really appreciate you being formal and informal for the sake of talking to teenagers, and we were able to open and speak about our wants and needs. You are very professional and well spoken, and I hope to see you soon again. Thank you so much!

  • Thank you for teaching us how to stay on top of our goals. I have started to plan ahead and you gave me confidence. It is about communicating and strategizing making sure that you can multitask. I have my own small business, I make handmade soaps, scrubs, and bath bombs. My small business is focused on all skin types leaving the skin moisturized and smooth. Unlike certain products that will leave the skin rough and dried. I took a marketing class to learn how to budget. Knowing that you have to fail a couple of times to get back on track and to keep going. It does not matter how you get there. It is the journey you are willing to take.

  • I think it is admirable that you could have stuck with being an accountant, but you decided to pursue what you truly enjoy in being an entrepreneur. All of the advice that you gave us about starting a business was really helpful as well. I found the opportunity to listen to somebody who owns a business and who has experienced the ups and downs that have come with it very valuable. Everything you told us definitely stuck with me, and I can see it benefiting me in the future. I hope you consider coming to visit our class again in the future!
